D’ohm
Courage, reluctantly
He fears disappointing everyone and has grown used to being the unlucky one. What sets him apart is his ability to notice someone else’s trouble while he has plenty of his own.

Humorous fairy tale
The clumsiest gnome in fantasy just broke the magic clock. FLY you, fools!
Now D’ohm must cross into the human world, find a true friend, and—somehow—save his town before time runs out.
Bandifox bandits. Pirate fairies with terrible manners. A mosquito mentor with far too many opinions.
Between belly laughs and breathless escapes, this is a story about courage, friendship, and turning a “d’oh” into a win.
Perfect for fans of: Terry Pratchett’s wit, Douglas Adams’s absurdity, and Roald Dahl’s mischievous humor.
Expect: fast chapters, wordplay, ridiculous adventures, and a tender core that surprises you when the laughter fades.

STEP INTO D’OHM’S WORLD
Gnomes have peculiar talents, objects have minds of their own, and a frightening creature may have a story its appearance cannot tell. D’ohm leaves a failing city to find a human friend. Each encounter makes him work out anew whom to fear, whom to trust, and who needs help.
A battered suitcase, an enormous telescope, and a rainbow umbrella held together with a patch. The human world lies far below. D’ohm has no reliable plan, but staying where he is has stopped being an option.
D’ohm and Mosquito Burrito
D’ohm fears letting people down. Burrito prefers to look fearless, especially while danger is comfortably distant. Their different ideas of courage make them a comic pair, with real loyalty beneath the performance.

Grand declarations sit uneasily beside actual danger. Yet there is loyalty beneath the performance: he shows up when it counts.
A nine-year-old girl in the human world. Curiosity and her own way of looking let her notice what adults would dismiss.
Cat ears, a rabbit-like snout, and a broad beaver tail. Kitchen utensils become armor: a ladle can be a helmet and a plate a breastplate.
BEYOND THE FRIENDLY FACE
Black fox-like creatures walk upright and bare yellow fangs. Their chief, Potbelly, is used to giving orders beside the fire. Nets and noisy confidence make their camp a dangerous place. D’ohm will have reasons to question first impressions.

A tavern in a split tree, where hospitality can turn into a kitchen battle.
Sweetness and perfect beauty offer no guarantee of safety. Living things have their imperfections.
Mirror-still water, fog, and a tiny boat. It is hard to tell what waits beyond the surface.
